What order should I read the Dìleas Security Agency books in? Each book has its own plot and its own couple, and can be read as a standalone, but the characters appear in each other's stories, so it's best (but not absolutely necessary) to start with book one, Near Miss, and read in order.
Which books feature former Navy SEALs? Book 2, Missing in Action, and Book 5, Missile Strike, feature former Navy SEALs as the hero. Book 1, Near Miss, and Book 3, Missed Opportunity, feature former British SAS soldiers. Book 4, Fatal Misstep, features a former Green Beret, and Book 6, Final Mission (coming in 2027), features a former Army special forces colonel turned FBI assistant director.
Which book has a second chance romance? Book 3, Missed Opportunity, is a second chance romance. Book 5, Missile Strike has a first love trope that also could be considered second chance.
How steamy are these books? All the books in this series have explicit, open-door sex scenes, cursing, and violence, so reader discretion is advised. As a mom, I like to say that if you aren't legally old enough to drink alcohol, you're probably not old enough for me to be comfortable with you reading my books.
Do the romances have happily-ever-after endings? Yes! There are no cliff-hangers and each story ends with the couple having their happily-ever-after. If fact, if you read a book marketed as a romance and it doesn't end in an HEA, you've been lied to - it's not a romance, it's another genre with romantic elements!
Where does The Mission fit into this series? The Mission is a prequel novella that sets up the origin story for most of the male main characters in this series, particularly the primary wound for Lachlan Mackay, the hero of book 1, Near Miss. It takes place in Afghanistan before the events that take place in the main books in the series. It's free to my newsletter subscribers and is worth the read to understand how this brotherhood of special operators came to be.
Where does Permission to Celebrate fit into this series? Permission to Celebrate is a fun bonus short story set in my Dìleas Security Agency world that primarily involves Lachlan and Sophia (from Near Miss), and Nathan and Emily (from Missing in Action). It can be read anytime after Missing in Action, but it is best read between book 4, Fatal Misstep, and book 5, Missile Strike, because that is the timeline of when the story takes place.
Are there box sets available for this series? Books 1-3 are available in an eBook box set on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited. Books 4-6 will be available in an eBook box set once the series is complete in 2027.
